Fun Day At Godmersham Park

May 31, 2017

Save the Date!

On 15th July, 11am – 5pm, The Fifth Trust will be holding a family Fun Day in the beautiful setting of Godmersham Park*. As well as an opportunity to tour the glorious formal and wilderness gardens, there will be games and activities for people of all ages and abilities, a variety of side shows, live music by Richard Ansell and refreshments. We are delighted that our patron, Pam Ferris, will be joining us. Entrance is £5 (on the day), children under 12 free.

We will be running a softball ‘quick cricket’ match from 11am to 12.30pm (approx.). Teams (players over 14 years of age) will be made up to include our students and members of their families. We’d love friends from our local community to join them as well. The two teams will be drawn on a ‘first come, first served’ basis……..but if you don’t get onto one, please come and support the players. They would really appreciate this!

Tickets are on sale for a prize draw. These can be purchased at The Vineyard as well as at the event itself. Prizes include £150 cash, £100 Marlowe Theatre vouchers and more!

There will be a tombola (drinks), cakes, handicrafts/bric-a-brac (nearly new) amongst other side shows and we would welcome any contributions you may be able to donate. We are not collecting books, DVD’s, CD’s or clothes.

All proceeds will be donated to The Fifth Trust’s Greenbanks Skills Centre re-development project. We hope you will join us for what promises to be an enjoyable day for all the family, in the most beautiful surroundings.

If you are interested in applying for a place on one of the teams, would like to make a donation, have a particular handicraft you are interested in demonstrating on the day or have any enquiries about the event, please contact Fifth Trust Trustee, Anita Robson (01227 831 399). Any offers of help would be greatly appreciated.
