Woodwork

Our well-equipped workshop and commercial Wood Shack give students the opportunity to learn practical woodworking skills.

Under close supervision by skilled instructors, they help to produce a wide range of pieces for sale in the garden centre, including bird tables, nesting boxes, flower pot holders and our ever-popular seasonal range of reindeer!

At the Wood Shack, students who are interested in developing their skills further are involved in crafting larger items including log stores and garden furniture, made to our own or customers’ designs. The timber we use is locally and sustainably sourced.
