As a charity, we are hugely grateful for the donations and grants that we receive.
Student fees are insufficient to fund everything that we do, so we rely on additional revenue from our social enterprises and fundraising. This goes towards developing our day care services for adults with learning disabilities so we can enable students to do and be the best that they can.
We are registered with the Fundraising Regulator, which shows our commitment to fundraising that is legal, open, honest and respectful.
Thank you for your support.
Where your money goes
We run appeals for specific needs and also rely on unrestricted donations to help support the work we do every day.
By far the most ambitious appeal in our 30-year history was the £2m redevelopment of our Barham Skills Centre in 2021/22. Thanks to grant-making trusts, corporate supporters and generous individuals, we now have an award-winning, sustainably designed centre that has allowed us to increase student numbers and introduce new sessions. The last element of the project was a multi-sensory room which was installed in Spring 2023.
