Fundraise

We love hearing what our supporters get up to in aid of The Fifth Trust!

Thank you, fundraisers!

We are so grateful to everyone who chooses to raise money for us in all kinds of ways. Whether you are arranging your own fundraiser or taking part in an organised event, it’s easy to set up your own sponsorship page at JustGiving, or you can download a ready-made sponsor form. Let us know about your upcoming event and we will help publicise it on our website and social media channels.

Amongst other local activities, we have benefited from the sale of Richard Borthwick’s glorious sweetpeas at Barham Village Store, Clipgate Farm’s dance nights and Lees Court Music’s Christmas concerts.

Former Barham resident Louise Robertson was sponsored to the tune of £1800 in aid of us and Age UK to be a busker for the day, and Issy Adamson collected £550 from family, friends and locals at the Black Robin after completing her first triathlon.

Our activities

Helping ourselves

Our main annual fundraiser is our highly popular craft fair held at the Elham Valley Vineyard on the first Saturday in December, where we sell Christmas trees and wreaths, Elham Valley Vineyard wine, and beautiful gifts, cards and wrapping paper made by students. There's a barbecue and mulled wine to keep out the chill!  We also arrange smaller events such as Christmas wreath workshops, exhibitions of students’ creative art and tastings of our own wines.

Members of staff are keen to do their bit. We held a month of fundraising activites throughout July to raise money to raise funds to rebuild our music room. You can learn more here.
