Whiteboard is a hit

A new interactive whiteboard is giving students at The Fifth Trust greater access to a whole range of digital content and activities.

Thanks to a donation from The Hobson Charity, we were able to purchase the Adept Smartboard for our skills centre. Mounted on a trolley which allows it to be moved between rooms and raised or lowered so all students can reach it, the whiteboard can also be linked to other devices so some of the software can be accessed remotely – ideal for the sessions we are currently running online as a result of the pandemic.

Our media instructors are currently working with a volunteer to create a programme of quiz and game apps for the whiteboard.
