Pedalling for pounds

18 August 2021

A seven-strong team is taking on The KM Big Bike Ride 50km challenge to raise funds for The Fifth Trust.

Care manager Mike Theoff, logs supervisor Jake Theoff, finance manager Gareth Owen-Conway, social enterprises manager Peter Stratton, garden centre supervisor Jo Taylor, communications manager Jane Ward and her husband George will be pedalling for pounds on 12 September.

The sponsorship money they raise will be shared 70:30 between the Trust and Inspire Schools, the educational foundation run by the event organiser, KM Charity Team.

Team 5T is busy getting in some training ahead of the ride, which starts and finishes at Betteshanger Country Park. Please support them by visiting https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/Team/Team5T or ask for the sponsor form in the café or garden centre.

Fundraising is essential to enable us to provide the best quality and range of services for our students with learning disabilities so any support you can give us is hugely appreciated by us all.

If you are doing the KM Big Bike Ride yourself, please consider choosing us as your nominated charity. Follow the link to book here and choose The Fifth Trust from the drop down menu when you are asked to select a supported charity.
