Christmas party fun

21 December 2021

For the second year running The Fifth Trust’s Christmas party plans were impacted by Covid-19 but that didn’t stop students and staff having a fantastic time!

Even before the arrival of the Omicron variant we had decided not to get together as one big group, to best protect the vulnerable people in our care. Instead, students gathered in their session bubbles at our two skills centres and at home to log into our remote Zoom party.

Everyone donned their favourite Christmas outfits and tucked into food goodie bags before enjoying a live-drawn tombola, story time and disco, plus a MasterChef spoof in which managers were challenged to make a festively-themed omelette (sprouts or edible glitter filling, anyone?).
