For Trustees’ Week, we’re pleased to introduce you to Bis Das, who joined The Fifth Trust’s board in February 2024. With over 18 years of experience in financial services, Bis brings a strong background in risk management, data analytics, and strategic innovation. A regular speaker at industry conferences, he is known for his forward-thinking approach and commitment to creating transformation frameworks.

In his role as a Trustee, Bis sees a natural alignment between his professional mission and The Fifth Trust’s focus on empowering adults with learning disabilities. “Working in risk management, my role goes beyond protecting the business; it’s also about promoting fairness and access,” he explains. “The Fifth Trust’s dedication to supporting adults with learning disabilities aligns with my values of promoting access to essential services for all.”

Bis aims to support The Fifth Trust’s strategic goals by guiding senior management in making sound decisions. Whether it’s expanding the student offering or generating income, Bis is keen to contribute to a sustainable future for the charity. “It’s refreshing to work with a charity so committed to doing the best for its students,” he reflects.
