Fishing fun
16 June 2025
Thanks to Masonic Fishing Charity and our sports instructor Jack Williams, ten of our students enjoyed an exciting day of fishing at a local lake – and they all caught at least one fish each!
On arrival, each student received a goody bag filled with a cap, pen, wristband, safety goggles, and other useful items.
With support from volunteer fishermen and the brilliant Mark B, each student had a dedicated helper to guide them around the lake. Fishing kicked off at 10am and continued until 12.15pm, followed by a delicious BBQ lunch.
After lunch, the students returned to the water for more fishing until 2.15pm. Student Max H stole the show by catching an incredible 30 fish!
To round things off, everyone took part in a presentation where they received a framed certificate and a medal to celebrate their efforts.
A big thank you to everyone who made the day so special!
